The 8th Greater Bay Area STEM Excellence Award 2026 (HKSAR)

The award has been organised by the Hong Kong New Emerging Technology Education Association (HKNETEA) since 2019. Its primary goal is to enhance students' creativity and innovation, while recognising young talents in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). This award also acknowledges the dedication of schools and teachers committed to advancing STEAM education.

• ICT (Information and Communication Technology) (Including IT, AI, Robotics)
• Life and Health
• New Materials and New Energy
• Science Video
• Rotary Water Purification

Streams

• Tertiary Stream / Postgraduate Stream
  • Students, and graduates from the academic year 2025-26
  • Individual or group (up to 5 members)
  • Submission: Essay (1,500 or 2,000 words), short video, or PPT
• STEAM Teacher Stream
  • Open to teachers from all schools
