Microsoft service updates and retirements starting in June and July 2026

Microsoft will update and retire several services starting in June and July 2026 to better align with its product positioning.

 

Retirement of Together mode in Microsoft Teams

Starting in June 2026, the Together mode option will be removed from the View menu in Teams meetings. Custom Together mode scenes and seat assignment functionality will also be retired.

Retirement of noise suppression capability for OneDrive and SharePoint videos

The noise suppression option will be removed from video playback controls starting in July 2026 when viewing videos stored in OneDrive or SharePoint.
