The Virtual Assistant for Instructor and the Virtual Assistant for Student are built using an agentic workflow, with relevant Canvas LMS instructor and student information pre-embedded into their respective vector stores, including metadata to improve search accuracy and speed. A Model-as-a-Judge approach is applied to review responses before putting forth final information to the instructor or student. Both the Instructure Community website and PolyU localized Canvas usage content are covered in the vector stores.
