Through the Joint University Computer Centre (JUCC)’s arrangement, the University offers a comprehensive range of Microsoft products and services under the Microsoft Enrolment for Education Solutions (EES) for a three-year from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2029. Under this institution-wide licensing agreement with Microsoft, eligible staff can enjoy access to a secure, standardised, and enterprise-ready Microsoft environment that supports daily teaching, learning, administration, and collaboration needs.
The EES covers a broad portfolio of Microsoft software, cloud services, and infrastructure access licences for institutional use. To support productivity and a consistent user experience across the University, the following end-user software is included:
- Windows Enterprise Upgrade (Education) for University-owned PCs
- Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise (Education)
These solutions provide users with access to essential Microsoft applications and enterprise-level features for academic and administrative work.
The EES also includes a range of Microsoft cloud and security services to enhance identity protection, endpoint management, data security, and analytics capabilities:
- Azure Information Protection Plan 2
- Azure Active Directory features, including multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Plan 2
- Microsoft Entra ID Plan 2
- Power BI Pro
These services, provided as part of Microsoft’s education enterprise offering, help strengthen the University’s cybersecurity posture while enabling users to work more securely and efficiently.

To meet specific departmental needs, additional Microsoft subscription products are also available for purchase on a non-perpetual annual licensing basis for Education Qualified Users (EQUs), including eligible faculty and staff, in accordance with the University’s purchase requisition procedure.
This gives departments added flexibility to subscribe to suitable Microsoft products and services based on their operational requirements. For details of available Microsoft products and pricing, please refer to the price list.
