Assessment moderation records should be entered into Assessment Moderation Platform (AMP) in accordance with the assessment moderation policy. This will become mandatory from Semester 1 of the 2026/27 academic year.
AMP provides an online workflow that helps teachers, moderators and reviewers carry out the moderation process more efficiently. It supports the full moderation cycle, including assessment design moderation, pre-grading preparation, and grading moderation, while also offering centralized records, role-based access, and automated notifications to help users manage their tasks more smoothly. For a detailed introduction to the platform’s background and core functions, you may refer to our previous newsletter article.

The latest improvements to AMP include multiple document upload, document tagging for easier filtering, clearer indicators for new and action-required items, preserved filter and sorting settings, submission count display in My Subject, a revert moderation function for department administrators, and other user interface refinements to improve day-to-day usability.
Department administrators and teachers are encouraged to take this opportunity to understand the system functions relevant to their roles (department administrator, subject teacher, moderator or reviewer) and complete any necessary preparation before Semester 1 commences. An orientation session will be arranged in late August to communicate mandatory adoption of AMP, introduce the latest enhancements, and provide an opportunity for departments to give feedback.
