The First Inauguration of Endowed Professorships (2013)

The First Inauguration of Endowed Professorships was held on 29 May 2013, Wednesday, at the Jockey Club Auditorium on the campus of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).

A total of eight Endowed Professorships were inaugurated. At the Ceremony, PolyU also paid tribute to the donors of the two named professorships established by the then Hong Kong Polytechnic.

Endowed Professorships

• Patrick S.C. Poon Endowed Professorship in Applied Chemistry
• Eric C. Yim Endowed Professorship in Asian Ergonomics (the discipline was changed to Inclusive Design in 2017)
• Cally Kwong Mei Wan Endowed Professorship in Culture and Art (the discipline was changed to Psychosocial Health in 2018)
• Henry G. Leong Endowed Professorship in Elderly Vision Health
• Clarea Au Endowed Professorship in Energy
• Lee Family Endowed Professorship in Fashion and Textiles
• Angel S.P. Chan Lau Endowed Professorship in Health and Longevity
• K.B. Woo Family Endowed Professorship in Optometry
