Summary
The global imperative to achieve carbon neutrality is driving an unprecedented transformation of our energy systems. Innovations in catalysis, energy conversion, and storage are the foundational pillars of this transition, critical for integrating renewable sources, ensuring grid stability, and decarbonizing industries from transportation to manufacturing.
This workshop is built upon the strong collaborative momentum and shared research vision established between The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and Adelaide University. This event will capitalize on their existing partnership to address pressing global challenges, such as material sustainability, cost reduction and system lifecycle optimization. The workshop aligns directly with Hong Kong’s Climate Action Plan 2050 and PolyU’s Strategic Plan 2023–28, demonstrating the university’s commitment to transformative international research.
