PolyU SCIENCE Young Talents Competition 2026 - Preliminary Round

Are you an aspiring scientist ready to transform curiosity into discovery? The Faculty of Science of PolyU is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of young scientists. To champion this mission, we proudly present the “PolyU SCIENCE Young Talents Competition 2026”, inviting ambitious secondary school students to participate from January to March 2026. 

Participating teams will take part in an Preliminary Round at PolyU Campus, with the qualified teams progressing to the Final Competition. Below is the details of the Preliminary Round:

• Date: 17 Jan 2026 (Saturday)

• Time: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm (90 minutes)

• Test language: English / Traditional Chinese

• Question type: MCQ

• Streams: Biology and Food Science, Chemistry, and Physics

為培育下一代年輕科學家，香港理工大學理學院隆重呈獻「理大科學青年人才比賽2026」，誠邀有抱負的中學生於2026年1月至3月期間參與。這比賽將為參賽隊伍提供一個發掘無限潛能的平台。

所有參賽隊伍將於第一輪出席預賽，表現優秀的隊伍將進入決賽。以下為預賽詳情：
