Ynno Med Limited, a PolyU start-up company co-founded by Dr Ma Cong of the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology, has been honoured as one of the 25 winners of the Falling Walls Science Breakthroughs of the Year 2023 under the category of Science Start-ups (Falling Walls Venture) for its development of first-in-class antimicrobial drugs to combat the ever-present situation of antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections. Congratulations to Dr Ma for the great achievement!
