Prof. Li Buyang of the Department of Applied Mathematics is conferred the RGC Research Fellow 2023/24. Prof. Li will receive a fellowship grant of HK$5.2 million for a period of 60 months to support his research on “Challenges, numerical analysis, and new computational methods for curvature-driven surface evolutions and related problems”.
The RGC Research Fellow Scheme aims to provide sustained support for exceptionally outstanding academics, with a view to facilitating their full dedication to research and development. This year, the RGC has selected 10 RGC Research Fellows. We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Prof. Li for his dedicated efforts in pursuing research excellence.
