PolyU Science Innovations snatched six prestigious prizes at the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, including 1 Special Prize, 2 Gold Medals with Congratulations of the Jury, 2 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, and 1 Bronze Medal.
Consonant with PolyU's endeavours to promote knowledge transfer, our researchers have been transforming innovations into real-world applications. These award-winning innovations exemplify our efforts in addressing global challenges, which include a long-acting anti-obesity and insulin-sensitising drug, a microbial-derived Technology to remove microplastic pollutants, a portable ultrasensitive glucose sensor, an electroreduction system for Reducing CO2 emissions, all-in-one device for virus diagnosis, and food waste-derived 3D printing material.
