Abstract

This review evaluates Berber Sardinha and Fitzsimmons-Doolan's (2025) Lexical Multidimensional Analysis: Identifying Discourses and Ideologies through both critical analysis and empirical testing. Unlike typical book reviews, I implemented the authors’ methodology myself and compared their approaches with alternative methods. The review examines the book’s theoretical foundations and applications, then presents methodological reflections from hands-on implementation experience.
