Prof. Hang Xing Assumes Headship of Department of Chinese History and Culture

Prof. Hang Xing, Professor in the Department of Chinese History and Culture (CHC), has assumed the role of Head of CHC with effect from 1 July 2026, Coinciding with the appointment, he has stepped down from his role as Associate Dean (Global Engagement) of the Faculty. The Faculty thanks Prof. Hang for his contributions as Associate Dean and looks forward to the continued development of the Department under his leadership. The Faculty also extends its appreciation to the former Head, Prof. Han Xiaorong, for his dedicated service and leadership over the past nine years.
