PolyU Hosts Landmark CCTT Asia-Hub Symposium 2026, Advancing Global Dialogue on Crisis Communication

The Department of Language Science and Technology (LST) successfully hosted the Crisis Communication Think Tank (CCTT) Asia-Hub Annual Symposium 2026 on 29–30 May 2026 at PolyU. Under the theme “Readiness & Governance in Crisis Management — Navigating Challenges in a Digital, Global Era,” the symposium convened over 100 leading scholars, industry practitioners and students from Hong Kong and beyond.

Co-organised with the Crisis Communication Think Tank and the School of Communication at Hong Kong Baptist University, the event featured cutting-edge discussions on AI governance, misinformation, cybersecurity disruptions and business resilience. Distinguished speakers shared forward-looking insights, fostering dynamic exchanges that bridged research and practice.
The symposium underscored PolyU’s growing leadership in crisis communication and strengthened cross-sector and cross-institutional collaboration across the region. Widely praised for its timeliness, strategic relevance and high level of engagement, the event marked a significant milestone in advancing innovation and global dialogue in crisis communication.
