Abstract
The proliferation of misinformation poses significant challenges to scientific authority and social trust. The speaker will summarize her key research findings on the dissemination and impact of misinformation in the past years, including the emerging threat of AI-generated misinformation. As AI becomes more integrated into media ecosystem and higher education, understanding its role in both spreading and combating misinformation is crucial. Beyond analyzing the problem, this talk will reflect on the responsibilities of scholars in the post-truth era.
