Dr Julia Chen, Director of the Educational Development Centre and Associate Professor (by courtesy) in the Department of English and Communication, has won the Outstanding Educator Award (Higher Education) at the EDUtech Asia 2025 Awards.
The award ceremony was held recently in Singapore. Dr Chan distinguished herself among nearly 400 global entries. Dr Chen’s visionary leadership and commitment to educational innovation have set her apart. With extensive teaching experience, her outstanding contributions include the integration of GenAI into teaching and learning, the transformation of course-based assessment, and the pioneering use of learning analytics in language education.
