Celebrating Academic Excellence: DALS Fellowship Supports International Exposure
Student Corner
The Faculty has launched the DALS Academic Development Fellowship to encourage and support students from the Doctor of Applied Language Sciences programme to attend and present papers at academic conferences and publish their work in reputable journals, fostering academic engagement and broadening international exposure.
This year, two DALS students, Stephy Wang Jinyan and Zhao Qun, received the Fellowship. They attended the Auckland, New Zealand and the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM) in Washington DC, the United States respectively, where they presented their research and connected with scholars from around the world.
The Faculty look forward to more students benefitting from this initiative and contributing to impactful scholarship worldwide.
