Talks by Consulate General Representatives about Study and Work in France and Germany for PolyU Students

Student Corner

The Minor in European Studies programme in the Department of English and Communication organised two cultural talks in October to inform PolyU students about the opportunities to study and work in France. On 20 October, Mr Wayne Leung, Academic Officer and Head of Campus France, introduced to the students what studying in France was like and about scholarships offered by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and by the French government. For the other talk on 31 October, Mrs Stefanie Walter and Ms Karin Cheung from the Cultural and Press Affairs Office of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany shared information with the students on different study opportunities in Germany. They also discussed working holiday programmes for young people, scholarships, and visa applications.
