PolyU Invitational English Speech Contest 2023
Highlights
The Department of English and Communication held the first PolyU Invitational English Speech Contest on 14 October. Bringing together 20 secondary schools, this captivating competition featured around 50 enthusiastic students who fearlessly took the stage. The contest comprised three challenging rounds: Poetry Recitation, Persuasive Speech, and Impromptu Speech, putting their linguistic prowess and public speaking skills to the test. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and teams who have demonstrated exceptional skill:
