Participation in the Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit 2021 (GIES 2021)

The Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies has participated in the Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit 2021 (GIES 2021), the largest gerontechnology public education event in Hong Kong during 3-6 November 2021. The Speech Therapy team has showcased their research on communication disorders and demonstrated the ultrasound imaging technique that benefits dysphagia patients to policymakers, rehabilitation specialists and general public. Taking this opportunity, the department promoted its active contribution to the elderly and rehabilitation service sector in Hong Kong.
