RECENT FOCUS
To further enhance the Faculty’s leading position in the integration of AI into education, research, and knowledge transfer in the areas of humanities, the University will be establishing the Division of Artificial Intelligence and the Humanities under the Faculty. Officially launching in January 2026, this new Division will serve as a catalyst for the Faculty’s transition towards AI integration, bridging AI expertise with all humanities disciplines.
The PolyU Information Day 2025 was successfully held on 27 September. This event provided one of the best opportunities for visitors to learn more about FH’s undergraduate programmes and explore their study options. FH Departments introduced their programmes and facilities on the occasion. Information seminars, thematic talks, guided visits and many more activities were arranged for visitors. Online information seminars can be viewed at https://www.polyu.edu.hk/study/events/.

Prof. Phoebe Lin, Assistant Professor at ENGL, shared her reflections on the competition in an article published in SCMP, where she shared her professional perspectives on the true purposes of writing amid the era of AI.
