Student Organisation Fund (SOF)

Faculty, school or departmental student organisations, with default membership, are playing a key role to attain university's goals through initiating diverse activities to enrich campus life. Eligible student organisations meeting the specified SOF objectives will receive funding support.

Administered by the Student Affairs Office, Student Organisation Fund (SOF) provides incentives on student-led activities which

• foster students’ holistic development and professional advancement

• promote meaningful intra-mural collaboration and student integration

• enhance peer support, multi-cultural awareness and cross-cultural exchange

• contribute towards building a PolyU community with a strong sense of belonging

• cultivate an open and inclusive campus ambiance by using English as the medium of communication in ALL activities

Period Covered

SOF provides support to subsidise part of the student organisations' expenses incurred between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026 (i.e., within 2025/26 Term of Office).
