Shenzhen Research Institute

The Shenzhen Research Institute is PolyU’s extended campus in Shenzhen. It has been incorporated into the University strategy in all aspects of space deployment, management and research; and has become the focus of PolyU's development in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) region. 

The Shenzhen Base has been granted the following titles:

·    New Research and Development Institutions in Guangdong Province

·    Shenzhen Technology Transfer Center

·    Shenzhen Makerspace

·    Nanshan District Makerspace

·    Excellent Research Institute

The base has more than 10 laboratories and research units, including 3 Shenzhen key laboratories, 2 Shenzhen branches of state key laboratories, and a cultivation base of province-ministry co-constructed state key laboratory. It undertakes research projects at all levels and a batch of excellent start-up teams was incubated in InnoHub@Shenzhen.
