中國語文教學中心「文藝二月」圓滿謝幕

趁青春，結伴行。   為了鼓勵同學體驗生活、發揮創意、突破寫作藩籬、提高創作水平，中國語文教學中心特於2023年2月舉辦連串文藝活動，邀請同學在乍暖還寒的春天，經歷一段前所未有的文藝之旅。 旅程先由兩位中心導師兼本地作家領行。其中李日康先生主講「遊記的誕生：反遊記」，張婉雯女士主講「小說的幾個關鍵詞」，與同學探討文類特點，並指導寫作技巧，分享寫作經驗。同學對講者分享創作路上的思考、作品所反映的生命情調印象尤深，先後提出不少問題，並不約而同表示寫作坊啟發甚大、獲益良多。 緊隨其後的「文藝青年日營」以「漫行者」為主題，邀得本地重要作家、中心語文導師與同學分享、遊戲、行走、實驗，體認文藝的興味，享受寫作的樂趣。首日文於天先生以「覺而思，思而悟」為題，分享個人創作現代詩的歷程。黃怡女士帶領同學走進「陌生化遊樂場」，透過閱讀文藝小品認識作家觀看世界的特殊角度，透過植字遊戲重塑並再現日常的生活經驗。次日葉秋弦女士與李日康先生對談，細數年來讀書、寫書、藏書、編書的點滴，再親身帶領同學遊走尖沙咀，發掘區內歷史、文化、電影、建築等元素，勘探不同時代的人文風景，體認今日香港的城市面貌。此外，同學在二日日營中也有機會沉澱、構想、提筆、補遺，並向導師介紹、與友好討論個人的思路與作品，難得興致勃勃、滔滔不絕。 夜幕低垂，日營完結。同學臨別前問道：「何時再有這樣的學習機會？」 路還長著呢，後會總有期。 (2023年2月28日)

PolyU 85th Anniversary Performance cum Putonghua Recitation and Demonstration Workshop Successfully Held

Hong Kong, November 21, 2022 – “PolyU 85th Anniversary Performance cum Putonghua Recitation and Demonstration Workshop”, jointly organized by the Chinese Language Centre of PolyU and the Tertiary Putonghua Recitation Society, was successfully held on November 19, in Chiang Chen Studio Theatre, PolyU. Participants from PolyU Putonghua recitation and demonstration workshop collaborated with members of the Tertiary Putonghua Recitation Society to give 13 recitation performances as a celebratory event for the 85th anniversary of PolyU. The event also served as a successful promotion of the art of recitation. More than 100 guests from PolyU, other tertiary institutions as well as the community enjoyed the afternoon and showed great appreciation for the performances.

馮展鵬同學就讀物流工程兼管理（榮譽）理學士學位課程，經中國語文教學中心提名，榮獲人文學院Dean's Certificate of Appreciation (Promotion of the All-round Development of PolyU Students) 2021/22，中心特此致賀。   馮同學品學兼優，曾經加入中心轄下蒼梧文學社，並擔任文字編輯，其間認真投入，克盡己任，深得老師與同學欣賞。另外，馮同學也參與由江蘇師範大學、香港理工大學、澳門大學主辦的「蘇港澳高校大學生中華經典誦讀交流賽」，經本中心老師指導，獲「時代新風獎」。此外，馮同學也積極參與各項計劃，盡展專業才能，又成為義師，協助有特殊教育需要的學童，致力增值自己，服務他人。   馮同學獲得獎項實至名歸，再次恭賀同學，亦希望同學再接再厲，在理大發光發熱！

Launch of PolyU’s eLanguage 易語學

A new language learning eplatform created by FH is ready for undergraduate students this semester. The eplatform, called eLanguage 易語學, has been created by colleagues in the CLC and ELC. Students are encouraged to join eLanguage 易語學 to improve their language proficiency in Chinese and English self-enrol instructions.pdf. The platform includes learning modules on writing essays, general vocabulary and workplace English and Chinese as well as an introduction to pinyin. The best performing students on eLanguage 易語學 will have the chance to win great prizes including tablets, bluetooth earphones and book vouchers. In light of the ongoing epidemic situation in Hong Kong, the Putonghua Proficiency Test for Primary Students (PPTPS) formerly scheduled in March 2022 will be rescheduled until further notice. Exam fee will be refunded in full. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
