Specialised in knitwear design, Miss Lusanna Xu Lulu won First Runner-up at the Young Knitwear Designers’ Contest 2025 with her collection, “BODY • PERCEPTION • SPACE”. She interlaces wool and elastic yarn into sculptural textures, then accents them with silk threads that glisten like water droplets – turning the sensory whispers of nature into wearable art. Lusanna credits PolyU’s collaborative culture and experience sharing among peers for pushing her creative boundaries. Looking ahead, she plans to blend knitwear with jewellery and textile crafts, redefining what knitwear can be through cross-disciplinary innovation.
