Mr Cola Lam Ho-lok is a young graduate who lives up to the motto of his alma mater. Riding the wave of smart manufacturing, he has led his team in developing the “OWL” Intelligent Production Line, empowering local manufacturers with AI, robotics, big data, and other advanced technologies to increase overall production capacity by 1.5 times while reducing land use. With recognitions from the HKIE MIS Industry Award and the HKB Technology Excellence Awards, Mr Lam has taken it a step further by founding his tech start-up, which specialises in artificial intelligence visual recognition technology for smart waste sorting solutions.
