Abstract
The increasing deployment of multi-UAV systems and networked robots in complex missions has brought new challenges to cooperative control, including limited communication resources, dynamic network topologies, and asynchronous information exchange. This talk focuses on the cooperative control of multi-UAV systems in constrained communication environments, with particular emphasis on event-triggering mechanisms and cooperative control under asynchronous switching topologies. To reduce the resource consumption caused by frequent communication, a dynamic self-triggering mechanism is developed to achieve a balance between control performance and communication efficiency. To address topology identification delays and asynchronous switching during network topology changes, asynchronous switching observers, a piecewise Lyapunov analysis framework, and jointly connected switching rules are constructed, together with the corresponding stability analysis theory. This talk will also provide a systematic overview of recent advances in topology switching control, event-triggered control, and distributed cooperative control, with particular attention to their applications in the autonomous cooperation of multi-UAV systems.
