簡歷

Sanchez博士是一位生物醫學科學家、認證「正念飲食覺知訓練」(MB-EAT) 導師以及認證健康和保健教練。她在墨西哥的ENCB-IPN學院取得製藥及工業化學學士學位,其後取得烏特勒支卓越獎學金,在荷蘭烏特勒支大學完成生物醫學碩士學位。她在香港理工大學獲得生物科學博士學位。此外,她還在瑞典哥德堡大學完成了博士後研究,並作為訪問學者在西澳大學完成了肥胖管理的密集研究培訓。Sanchez博士也在美國正念飲食培訓學院完成了正念教學認證和健康與保健輔導培訓,並在英國正念冥想學院完成了正念教學培訓課程。 

她的研究重點是基於正念的介入措施在解決飲食失調行為方面的功效,及其在肥胖管理背景下的潛在神經生理機制。此外,她也對精神和神經系統疾病的分子機制進行研究,特別關注神經生成以及補充和替代醫學(CAM)、例如芳香療法和傳統中醫療法的影響。這項工作探討了神經生成作為與神經系統和情感障礙的病理生理學相關的重要可塑性機制,並使用細胞模型和動物模型研究 CAM 對神經生成的影響。 

身為香港的首席研究員,Sanchez博士成功透過多個計畫獲得了超過150萬港元的資助,包括理大Student-Staff Partnership 種子基金資助的「透過同情心促進協作學習」項目、政府醫療衞生研究基金研究獎學金計劃資助的「用於肥胖管理的基於正念的數碼飲食意識培訓」,以及用於研究薰衣草精油作為憂鬱症治療潛力的啟動資金。此外,她還利用 Bertil 和 Berit Adström 研究基金會的資助在瑞典領導了腎臟疾病研究項目,並擔任香港大學《與你同行》資助計劃下的一個在香港預防自殺的項目的負責人。 

Sanchez博士熱衷於重新連接身心以促進身心健康,致力於推進科學知識並提升以正念的介入措施以及精神和神經疾病領域的成效。
