融入大灣區與國家創科論壇暨科技及創新政策研究中心開幕典禮完滿舉行

理大於十一月二十四日成功舉辦「融入大灣區與國家創科論壇暨科技及創新政策研究中心（PReCIT）開幕典禮」。近 300 名師生、校友、嘉賓，以及創科、金融和學術領袖出席盛會，就香港如何積極融入國家發展規劃交流意見。

PAIR participated in the USR Summit Education and Action for a Sustainable Future (只有英文版本)

With unprecedented challenges threatening the world, interdisciplinary research has the strength to tackle issues that cannot be solved with traditional discipline-specific research. An interdisciplinary research hub established by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University showcased a number of impactful collaborative research addressing issues relating to climate change, energy shortage, ageing population and the recent pandemic in an international summit.

2022智能可穿戴系統國際會議圓滿結束

由香港理工大學（理大）智能可穿戴系統研究院（RI-IWEAR）主辦的為期三日的智能可穿戴系統國際會議2022（ICIWS2022）於6月29日圓滿結束。該會議包括材料、設備和加工，傳感器、執行器和生物電子，能量收集和儲存，以及系統集成和新興應用四個主題，共邀請了29位專家分享了他們在柔性材料、傳感器、能源設備、可穿戴電子系統集成的基礎研究和應用的經驗。

The PAIR Distinguished Lecture Series was successfully held on 17 May 2022. We were honoured to have renowned scholar, Prof. David Cardwell, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Strategy and Planning), University of Cambridge, UK, as the invited speaker. The webinar was hosted by Prof. Christopher Chao, Vice President (Research and Innovation) and Chair Professor of Thermal and Environmental Engineering of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).
