Graduating fashion design student Yung Tsz-tsun Trev won the prestigious Young Talent Award 2026, presented by the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association (HKFDA). The award presentation ceremony was held on 1 September 2026.
Each year, the HKFDA assembles a panel of veteran fashion designers to evaluate graduation runway shows across Hong Kong's four leading design institutions: PolyU, Hong Kong Design Institute, Saint Francis University, as well as Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong. From a competitive pool where only four to seven top graduates from each institution are shortlisted, candidates undergo rigorous interviews before a single standout designer is selected as the overall recipient of the coveted annual award. Trev’s victory highlights his exceptional creative vision and craftsmanship among Hong Kong’s emerging design talents.
