"NewGen Enchantment: AI in Fashion Design" was a captivating virtual exhibition that showcased the innovative work of 13 talented BA students in fashion design, knitwear design, and contour fashion and activewear from 10 Feb to 27 Jun 2025. The exhibition was curated by Drs Kitty Lam, Kawai Lo and Prof. Aemika Zou. The exhibition highlighted the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and fashion design, and showed how the next generation of designers are pioneering new paths in the fashion industry. Our students embarked on a journey to redefine fashion through the unprecedented possibilities of AI, which enhanced their creativity and design skills. The exhibition’s engaging video content wove the visionary concepts of the students into a new narrative, which immersed visitors into a dynamic visual experience. Each of the exhibition’s thematic sections highlighted a unique source of inspiration: the human mind, nature, and culture. With AI as their collaborator, our students have explored the endless possibilities of creative convergence.
