ITC Scholars Ranked Among Top 2% of Scientists In The World
ITC is proud to share that 13 of our colleagues are now ranked among the world’s top 2% scientists in a report by Stanford University in the USA. This recognition demonstrates the influence of ITC in a multitude of disciplines and signifies our dedication to conducting world-class research in Fashion and Textiles.

II. STAFF ACHIEVEMENTS

ITC develops novel anti-virus 3D printing material that terminates over 90% of COVID-19 in 10 minutes

This world's first “anti-virus 3D printing material” can kill the COVID-19 virus on surfaces as well as most common viruses and bacteria. The main component of the material is resin, added with anti-viral agents such as cationic compounds, to pierce the cell membrane of the virus and destroy its structure to kill the virus and bacteria.

RGC Senior Research Fellow - Prof. Zijian Zheng

Congratulations to Prof. Zijian Zheng, who was conferred the prestigious title of 'RGC Senior Research Fellow'. An award presentation ceremony was held in November 2021 to honour academics from UGC-funded universities for their outstanding research achievements and significant contribution to the higher education sector.

Dr Dahua Shou and colleagues advance liquid engineering and publish in impactful journals

The research articles were published on the Advanced Energy Materials journal and a premium journal Cell Reports Physical Science (a premium journal, receive an overwhelming response.

On 25 November 2021, over 600 distinguished guests, alumni, staff and students, including our Head and Chair Professor, Prof. Jintu Fan, attended the PolyU 85th Anniversary launch ceremony.

Prof. Jintu Fan visits Fountain Set (Holdings) Ltd.

On 25 October 2021, Prof. Jintu Fan led a delegation to visit the headquarter of Fountain Set (Holdings) Limited. Prof. Hu Hong, Prof. Lilly Li and Dr Zhou Jinyu joined the visit.

ITC Christmas Lunch

After the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled the 2020 Christmas celebrations, ITC brought back its annual Christmas Lunch on 17 December at The Greenery in the Royal Garden Hotel.
