Easy Park, Easy Go — Your last-mile made simple

by Luo Yuyao, Zhang Wu, Tsang Hiu Ching, Li Xiang, Lu Junrong,

Master of Design (Smart Service Design)

EasyPark is an intelligent service system designed to address non-motor vehicle parking chaos and supply-demand imbalances within the last 100 meters of Guangzhou Metro stations. Targeting occasional parkers who face high decision uncertainty in unfamiliar environments, the project replaces reactive penalties with pre-emptive information and behavioral nudges to guide orderly parking under time pressure. The system integrates three core touchpoints: physical smart parking guidance infrastructure providing real-time visual cues, a mobile app offering predictive navigation and decision support, and a backend dashboard serving as an urban mobility intelligence platform. By connecting riders, operators, enforcement personnel, and urban planners through spatial data, EasyPark transforms static parking areas into a real-time readable environment. Ultimately, this comprehensive solution reduces sidewalk congestion, restores pedestrian access, and enhances urban governance in alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goal 11.
