Biography
Dr Lukasz Mirocha is a computational media and creative software professional working with immersive and real-time 3D media. He focuses on emerging workflows such as generative AI, 3D Gaussian Splatting, and AI world models. He has presented research and led dozens of masterclasses globally at SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, and ISEA, and has taught and led research projects at universities across Asia and Europe. From 2021 to 2024, he held a government-funded postdoctoral research fellowship at the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University, where he explored real-time, game-engine-based techniques for designing 3D, interactive, and video content for art, entertainment, and visualisation. His research has been
published by MIT Press, Palgrave Macmillan, Taylor & Francis, Brill, and others.
He holds a PhD from the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong (2021).
