The lecture provides Year 1 students with an insight into a career in Industrial/Product Design. As a PolyU alumni now working as an Industrial Designer at TTI, developing innovative power tools for brands like Milwaukee, I will share my passion for the field, rooted in a passion of model making. I will describe a typical day at TTI (ideation, prototyping, and collaboration) with my PolyU experience in workshops, ergonomics, and sustainability. The session will illustrate how PolyU knowledge applies directly to industry, offer key project insights, and outline diverse career pathways.
