Following yesterday's President's Welcome, the excitement continued at today’s Orientation Showcase!
Held on 28 August at the Shaw Sports Complex, the event featured over 40 booths organised by various administrative units, student-led interest clubs and societies, attracting over 3,500 freshmen who came to explore.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our freshmen to gain a comprehensive overview of PolyU’s diverse range of support services, co-curricular activities, and campus life, while interacting with staff and senior students – helping them gear up for an amazing PolyU journey!
We were especially thrilled to have Prof. Jin-Guang Teng, President of PolyU, Prof. Ben Young, Vice President (Student and Global Affairs), Prof. Horace Mui, Interim Dean of Students, along with the management team of the Student Affairs Office, visited the booths. They chatted warmly with the freshmen, and encouraged them to actively participate in and enrich their university journey within a vibrant learning environment.
