Cruz Gonzalez 教授是一名職業治療師,研究範疇專注於神經康復,特別關注以科技為本的方法,以促進神經受損後的功能恢復。他的研究探討使用非入侵性腦刺激(Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation, NIBS)作為認知障礙人士的認知康復方法,以及利用腦機接口(Brain–Computer Interface, BCI)系統促進中風後的上肢運動康復。
在加入理大之前,他曾於南洋理工大學的新加坡復康研究院擔任研究員,參與開發中風後深度表型分析方案,利用數據驅動技術來描繪康復軌跡,並研發基於感應器技術的精細運動評估方法。
他樂與企業及機構合作,共同評估及應用新興科技,以推動醫療革新及改善病人療效。他現正招收博士生,歡迎對神經康復、認知康復、康復科技、數據驅動方法以及影響康復的心理社會因素等範疇有濃厚興趣、積極進取的同學與他聯絡。
