Cruz Gonzalez 教授是一名职业治疗师,研究范畴专注于神经康复,特别关注以科技为本的方法,以促进神经受损后的功能恢复。他的研究探讨使用非入侵性脑刺激(Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation, NIBS)作为认知障碍人士的认知康复方法,以及利用脑机接口(Brain–Computer Interface, BCI)系统促进中风后的上肢运动康复。 在加入理大之前,他曾于南洋理工大学的新加坡复康研究院担任研究员,参与开发中风后深度表型分析方案,利用数据驱动技术来描绘康复轨迹,并研发基于传感器技术的精细运动评估方法。 他乐与企业及机构合作,共同评估及应用新兴科技,以推动医疗革新及改善病人疗效。他现正招收博士生,欢迎对神经康复、认知康复、康复科技、数据驱动方法以及影响康复的心理社会因素等范畴有浓厚兴趣、积极进取的同学与他联络。
