摘要

The HKSAR Government has been providing ceaseless support to the development of Innovation and Technology (I&T) in Hong Kong to reinforce the city’s status as an international innovation and technology hub. In response to the Government’s direction, the Policy Research Centre for Innovation and Technology (PReCIT) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is going to organize the PReCIT Innovation and Technology Forum Series in order to facilitate constructive discussions in society for impactful ideas.

The forum entitled “Planning, Land and Housing for Innovation and Technology Development in Hong Kong”, is organized by PReCIT, and co-organized by the Department of Applied Social Sciences (APSS), Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation (JCDISI), Research and Innovation Office (RIO) and the Smart City Consortium. Speakers will share their insights on the positioning of Northern Metropolis as “HK’s Technology Corridor” to accelerate Hong Kong’s development into an innovative economy. Related hot issues will be addressed during the panel discussion session.
