Canadian alumni reaffirm global connections with PolyU
PolyU’s recent delegation visit to Canada provided an opportunity not only to strengthen institutional partnerships, but also to deepen connections with alumni communities across the country. Led by President Professor Jin-Guang Teng, the delegation joined alumni events in Toronto and Vancouver, celebrating long-standing bonds between graduates and their alma mater.
In Toronto, the delegation attended the Annual General Meeting Dinner of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Eastern Canada) Association. Alumni gathered to celebrate shared memories, review association milestones, and discuss future initiatives to support PolyU's institutional goals, enhance cultural exchanges, and foster community connections.
In Vancouver, the delegation joined the 30th Anniversary Celebration Dinner of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Western Canada) Association. The event highlighted three decades of dedication by the Association in building a close-knit network among alumni and bridging links between PolyU and the Western Canada community.

The visit provided opportunities to strengthen ties with PolyU alumni communities overseas.
These warm gatherings reaffirmed the strong connections within the global PolyU community and highlighted the important role overseas alumni play as ambassadors and advocates for the University. As PolyU continues to expand its global engagement, its alumni community remains a valuable source of connections, experience and support, helping to strengthen the University's presence and impact around the world.
