PolyU InnoTech Open Day showcases the University's contributions to I&T development via world-class education, interdisciplinary research, knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship

PolyU held the PolyUI nnoTechOpen Day on 16 July on campus to showcase the University’s latest endeavours in education, interdisciplinary research,  knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship which are helping to empower the I&T development of Hong Kong, the GBA and beyond.

PAIR was jointly inaugurated by officiating guests, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐒𝐮𝐧 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐠, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of the HKSAR Government, 𝐌𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐧, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology of the HKSAR Government, 𝐃𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐦 𝐓𝐚𝐢-𝐟𝐚𝐢, PolyU Council Chairman, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐢𝐧-𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠, President of PolyU, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐭𝐚𝐤, Deputy President and Provost of PolyU, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨, Vice President (Research and Innovation) of PolyU, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐓𝐚𝐨 𝐗𝐢𝐚𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠, Acting Director of PAIR, and leaders of PAIR’s 16 constituent research units.

The Inauguration Ceremony was followed by the Award Presentations of PolyU President's Award for Outstanding Achievement in Knowledge Transfer and PolyU Young Innovative Research Award (YIRA). PAIR's so proud that eight out of ten projects received the KT award were members and teams from our constituent research units while one of the awardees of YIRA was our member as well.
