Shanghai-Hong Kong Universities Alliance | Mainland Development Office

The Shanghai-Hong Kong Universities Alliance (SHUA) was established in November 2018 by eight leading universities from Shanghai and eight from Hong Kong. SHUA aims to strengthen collaboration between the two regions in talent cultivation, research cooperation, and educational innovation, achieving mutual benefit and collaborative innovation. An annual conference is hosted alternately by universities in Shanghai and Hong Kong. As a member, PolyU actively participates in Alliance activities, working with partner institutions to advance higher education, optimize educational resources, and promote the transformation of innovative achievements, contributing to the cultivation of talents with global vision and innovative capabilities.
