PolyU 80th Anniversary Open Day

PolyU 80th Anniversary Open Day was successfully held on 2 and 3 December 2017.  ITC actively participated in this event by showcasing its latest developments and achievements as well as its wealth of facilities to the public. 

The Open Day featured a wide variety of ITC activities, including creative showcases, themed talks, guided facility tours and open house which gave the visitors a better understanding of ITC’s developments.  The research showcase aimed to display ITC's accomplishments in education, research and knowledge transfer.  Project demonstrations were also provided onsite.  Five sessions of talk on fashion and textiles with topics related to daily life issues were presented to the public.  ITC also opened some of its centre, workshops and studio for visitors to have a close look at our facilities.  Visitors were also offered the opportunities to visit the state-of-the-art facilities by joining the guided tours.

The Open Day attracted a large no. of visitors including PolyU alumni and their families and friends, community partners and general public.
