ITC welcomes new Assistant Professor Dr Chloe Ki
News



Dr Chloe Ki has been newly appointed as an Assistant Professor under the fashion retail and marketing discipline. She earned her PhD in Retail and Consumer Sciences at University of Tennessee at Knoxville, USA. She holds an MA in Clothing and Textile and a BA in English Language and Literature from Ewha Womans University, South Korea. Prior to joining ITC, she worked as a marketing representative at Li & Fung Korea and a senior PR consultant at Edelman Korea.

At the core, Dr. Ki’s research interests lie in consumer psychology and linking it to diverse contexts, such as sustainable consumption, luxury fashion consumption, and ethnic-inspired design consumption. More recently, her research interest has expanded to digital marketing (e.g., social media influencer marketing) aimed at identifying whether and how it steers consumers’ psychological and behavioral responses.
