ITC welcomes new Assistant Professors

Dr Eunsoo Baek has been newly appointed as an Assistant Professor under the fashion retail and marketing discipline. Previously she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Cornell University. She earned her PhD in Fashion Marketing and MS in Marketing from Seoul National University, and BS in Clothing and Textiles in Yonsei University, South Korea.

Dr Baek's primary research interests centre on retail experience based on the consumer behaviour discipline. She seeks to understand how retail store design affects shoppers’ experiences. Her recent research interests have extended to retail technology, such as virtual reality and augmented reality, and its effect on consumer experiences.



Dr Dahua Shou has been newly appointed as an Assistant Professor of Fashion & Textile Technology - Textiles. He gained his PhD at PolyU in 2013. Prior to rejoining ITC, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow consecutively at School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, Sydney University and Department of Fiber Science & Apparel Design, Cornell University.

Dr. Shou’s research activities include Modeling and Optimization of Heat and Mass Transfer, Moisture and Thermal Management, Soft Robotics and Thermoregulatory Wearables, and Nanofiber-Based Energy Conversion, Passive Cooling and Air Filtration.
