World Immunization Week 2021 · Vaccines bring us closer
World Immunization Week is a global initiative organised by the World Health Organization in the last week of April (24 to 30 April) aiming to promote the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against vaccine preventable diseases.
Immunisation is recognized as one of the most successful, safe and cost-effective health interventions and protect millions of people each year globally from serious and often deadly diseases including measles, hepatitis B and even some forms of cancer.
We have sacrificed so much to keep our loved ones and community safe from COVID-19: family reunions, hugs from loved ones, meals with friends and colleagues. Now, vaccines offer us the clearest path back to normal. Together, we can end the COVID-19 pandemic and achieve a healthier world for all.

2021年世界免疫周 · 疫苗使我們更緊密
世界衞生組織舉辦的世界免疫周於每年4月最後一周 (4月24至30日) 舉行，其目的是促進疫苗使用，使所有年齡組別人群得到保護，預防疫苗可預防疾病。
免疫接種是公認最成功、最安全和最具成本效益的衞生干預措施之一，每年保護全球數以百萬計的生命，免受麻疹、乙型肝炎以致某些癌症等嚴重甚至可致命疾病的威脅。
為了保護至親和社區免受2019冠狀病毒病傷害，我們犧牲甚多：停止家庭聚會、不與至親擁抱、避免與朋友和同事飯聚。現在，疫苗為我們提供回到正常生活的途徑。只要我們同心合力，便可結束2019冠狀病毒病疫情，為所有人建立更健康的世界。
