Culture

As a former British colony, Hong Kong adopts a lot from the Western culture in addition to its Chinese roots. Both Chinese festivals and Western festivals are celebrated in Hong Kong.  In terms of cuisine, Hong Kong, renowned as “Gourmet Paradise”, provides a huge range of choices.

Religion

Hong Kong residents enjoy religious freedom. Main religions include Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. There are also small populations affiliated with Sikhism, Islam, Hinduism and other religions.
