The upright confocal microscope allows researchers to create highly resolved 3D images of cells and some subcellular structures through its optical slice function.

Specifications:
• Up to three highly sensitive GaAsP detectors
• fast linear scanning: 512x512 pixels with up to 8 frames per second
• Laser line 405, 488, 561, 640nm
• Image up to four dyes, crosstalk free by multi-tracking
• Objectives: 10x, 20x, 40x (oil), 63x (oil)

Applications:
• Live cell imaging, up to four dyes
• Correlative microscopy
• Study of protein/molecular dynamics
• Antibody stained tissue slices
• Basic, 3D reconstruction

PolyU Users (per hour): $100
Users from other UGC-funded Universities / Self-financed local universities / Non-local universities / HKSAR Government (per hour): $200
