Our Year 1 Architectural Studies (AS) students are currently showcasing their creative works at the 2025 Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (Hong Kong): Techformance, held at the East Kowloon Cultural Centre (EKCC) until late January 2026.
This platform not only provides our students with the opportunity to present their projects on an international stage but also immerses them in a dynamic community of artists and thinkers. Through active engagement, our students are fostering creativity, collaboration and a strong sense of community. We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition at EKCC to explore and experience firsthand the creative works of our students.
One of the highlights was Prof. Tris KEE, Associate Professor of BRE and Programme Leader of the AS programme, being invited as a Forum Speaker to share insights into the making of the installation with the public at the EKCC Lecture Hall on 20 December 2025.
Following this incredible experience at the Biennale, we are tentatively planning to bring our students’ works back to PolyU for a campus showcase in February 2026. The exhibition will run for 3 to 4 weeks, offering a chance for the wider PolyU community to engage with the innovative creations of our students. Stay tuned for more details!
