Dr Nano Cheng Wai-yin’s research focuses on chrononutrition, neuroinflammation and functional foods, with a particular interest in developing dietary strategies to address circadian disruption and related diseases. In addition to publishing extensively in leading international journals, she co-founded Mushroom Innovation Tech Limited, a start-up that develops functional foods and beverages, including a lower-caffeine “mushroom coffee” formulated with mushroom polysaccharides and oat beta-glucan. By translating her research into practical applications, she promotes healthier alternatives for wellness-conscious consumers.
